Well, since you're going to blog towards cars and auto... My friend's car has a bad starter and when he turns the ignition, every so often the engine won't turn for awhile. Do you happen to know any solutions to this?
First check the fuses and battery, and if it isn't either of those I'd imagine a bad Igntion Switch or even a band connection.
